‘A Celebration of Shakespeare’


Against the North Door is a depiction of ‘Macbeth’, with the subtle blues mauves and pinks suggesting the Scottish countryside. The dagger in the red roses depicts the killing of Duncan the rightful king and suggests the psychological torment suffered by Macbeth because of his guilt.
